Dr. Diana Garland has a degree in educational leadership from the University of Missouri – Columbia. She has been employed by Missouri State University for over 20 years and is currently serving as the Director of the new Learning Commons. Prior to this position she was Interim Director of International Student Services and served as Associate Director of Academic Outreach and Distance Learning for over 10 years.
She has been a per course lecturer for over 15 years at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Additional Dr. Garland served as a national technology grant reviewer for the past 6 years, presented distance learning research at over 25 state, regional and national conferences. Dr. Garland is a past president of the Missouri Distance Learning Association and has served on the Board of Directors for over 8 years.
