Amy Johns is currently the Director of Instructional Technology at Moberly Area Community College and has been with MACC for over 9 years. She has served as an adjunct instructor, teaching and developing course content in various formats including online, hybrid, virtual, and ground (face-to-face) and in 2009 began working in the Instructional Technology Department. Current duties include creating course schedules for MACC Online, providing professional development and training for faculty, staff, and students, acting as the primary support contact for MACC’s Learning Management System, communicating important information to the college, organizing MACC’s annual Technology Conference, and assessing online courses. Ms. Johns actively serves on MACC’s Distance Learning Committee and its Technology Committee. She has presented at various conferences and workshops such as MACADA (Missouri Academic Advising Association), MCCA (Missouri Community College Association), Moberly Area Community College’s annual Technology Conference, and at area high schools. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music and a Master of Music and is a certified online instructor through Pearson Learning Management Solutions.
