Karen Klos is an Instructional Design Specialist at East Central College. She has a diverse background in technology, including working with a wide variety of technologies including podcasting, video production and editing, ITV (interactive television) videoconferencing systems, course management systems, presentation and online communication software, satellite downlinking equipment, and college cable station management. Her professional organization involvement includes the Missouri Distance Learning Association (MoDLA), the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA), Missouri Community College Association (MCCA) and the Network of Illinois Learning Resources in Community Colleges (NILRC). Karen also takes advantage of assignments to teach a Foundation Seminar class. Karen is serving as Vice President due to the resignation of Executive Board Member Sherry Phelen.
